Compliance & Assessment Liaison (FedRAMP/3PAO) - NO LONGER ACCEPTING CANDIDATES

Seeking an experienced and highly organized Compliance & Assessment Liaison to serve as the central coordination point between internal teams and Third-Party Assessment Organizations (3PAOs) for cloud security and compliance assessments, particularly within the FedRAMP framework. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, timely, and successful authorization efforts across complex projects involving federal cloud compliance initiatives.

Clearance Requirement:

U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and FedRAMP-accredited 3PAOs.

Coordinate and manage all communications, documentation transfers, and meeting logistics related to assessment engagements.

Ensure 3PAOs receive complete and timely information to conduct accurate evaluations.

Track assessment milestones, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues in collaboration with project leads.

Escalate high-risk concerns and manage resolutions effectively across stakeholder groups.

Maintain current knowledge of FedRAMP regulations, assessment methodologies, and compliance requirements.

Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of assessment partners as needed.

Support documentation and evidence readiness across various project teams to ensure assessment success.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Security, Computer Science, IT Management).

At least 5 years of experience in compliance, information security, or GRC roles.

Active certification such as CGRC (formerly CAP), CISSP, or Security+

Strong knowledge of FedRAMP standards, policies, and 3PAO assessment workflows.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with or within a 3PAO environment is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with cloud environments and related security assessment processes.

Experience working on federal IT projects or regulated environments.

Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
