Seeking a highly skilled and experienced FedRAMP Automation Architect to design and oversee automation strategies for our FedRAMP compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FedRAMP requirements, automation tools, and security architecture, with a focus on OSCAL (Open Security Controls Assessment Language) integration and phased implementation.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop comprehensive automation strategies for FedRAMP compliance, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
Lead the integration of OSCAL into existing FedRAMP processes and workflows.
Develop a phased implementation plan for automation initiatives, prioritizing high-impact areas.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and documentation.
Ensure that automation solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest FedRAMP requirements, automation technologies, and security best practices.
Mentor and guide other engineers on automation techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Eight (8)+ years of experience in information security and automation, with a focus on FedRAMP compliance.
CISSP, CISM, or CGRC certification required.
Strong understanding of FedRAMP requirements and processes.
Extensive experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Experience with OSCAL is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to design and implement complex automation solutions.
