Automation Engineer - NO LONGER ACCEPTING CANDIDATES

A forward-looking technology organization is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design and maintain API-driven automation solutions for data collection and control reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer who enjoys building scalable integrations that enhance operational efficiency and compliance visibility across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated API integrations for internal data pipelines and compliance/reporting systems.

Build automation workflows to support control monitoring and evidence collection processes.

Write clean, maintainable code and technical documentation.

Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless end-to-end automation.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integrations and data flow.

Participate in peer reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning.

Stay informed of evolving technologies, automation frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in automation engineering or backend software development.

Proficient in one or more modern programming languages: Python, Java, Go, etc.

Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and third-party integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).

Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git).

Familiarity with data transformation, validation, and reporting frameworks.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
