Senior Solutions Engineer

As Senior Solutions Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of data-driven solutions. You'll work closely with diverse cross-functional teams, oversee innovative projects, and stay at the forefront of big data trends and technologies.
· Manage FedRAMP-compliant cloud IT systems.
· Engineer technical solutions for complex customer needs.
· Deliver next-generation automated infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, Azure, and AWS.
· Provide data engineering and analytics solutions.
· Oversee all aspects of Docker and related CI/CD platforms for enterprise customers.
· Collaborate with clients and third-party vendors to define requirements, architect, develop, and deploy containerized application solutions, or migrate legacy applications to containers (Linux and Windows).
· Enable effective Organizational Change Management (OCM) and turnover through training and hands-on support as needed.
· Develop modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using OAuth, SAML, and SSO.
· Create complex data-mapping automation with Python to facilitate migration from legacy to modern software platforms.
· Mentor and support junior team members.
Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certifications:
· Must be a U.S. Citizen.
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, OR eight years of relevant technical experience with certifications in lieu of a degree.
· Experience working with federal government or federally regulated industries is preferred.
· Proven experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.
· Strong proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on data processing.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
· Experience with command-line-driven applications and technologies, with a preference for Linux expertise.
· Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
· Ability to understand requirements and create technical documentation with minimal supervision.
· Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Proficiency in Kubernetes tools such as kubectl and Helm.
· Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
· Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
